Finding a contractor

Since we are talking about your home, your greatest investment, there are certain questions you should ask before you hire the contractor you are talking with.

First, choose someone that has been recommended by someone you trust.   Then ask around your community and see if anyone else has hired them before.

Here is a list of questions to ask home owners who hired the particular contractor that you are considering:

  •  what experience did they have?

  • were they professional?

  • did they complete the job?

  • was there any issues after they finished?

  • were they able to get a hold of them later after their check was cashed?

  • were they willing to come back and fix and problems that accured as a result of the initial job?
